Woodstock Lavender Co.
Hello everyone, I recently went to the lovely Woodstock Lavender Company farm (you can check out their website here). I absolutely love lavender, it’s one of my favorite flowers. I was delighted to find Woodstock Lavender Co. in Somerset, KY. I went for the first time last year with my mom and knew I had to revisit every lavender season. They have so many varieties of lavender and even different colors, I must admit I didn’t know there are different colors and so many varieties of lavender. The owners of the farm are so lovely and I loved learning about the history of their farm as well. They make you feel so welcome and are a wealth of knowledge about lavender.
I attended their “u-pick” event and your ticket includes a bouquet of lavender that you pick. You can combine the different varieties and colors, the result is stunning and smells so delightful. It was so nice to walk up and down the different rows taking a closer look at how different they are and taking time to smell the varieties and how they differ. After I picked my lavender bouquet I made my way to their beautifully decorated barn where I enjoyed some of their lavender lemonade and some other lavender treats. They have a variety of culinary boxes to enjoy for lunch that you can order ahead of time when you purchase your ticket online.
